The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada (AmCham Canada), with seven chapters across the country, serves as a not-for-profit, chamber association focused on trade, commerce, business and investment. It is one of over 112 American institutions around the globe that are commonly known as "AmCham", and it represent its membership of businesses professionals, policy and thought leaders students, stakeholders and other committed participants. Our Mission is to facilitate the expansion of cross-border trade, opportunities and movement of people between Canada and the United States through active development and promotions of economic and political policies and initiatives. We serve as the first and most comprehensive point of contact for U.S and Canadian companies wishing to do business across the border, by introducing members to each other through formal and informal communications and events and networking opportunities.

Am Cham Canada can work with other American Chambers of Commerce chapters located worldwide "AmCham International" to advance the interests of AmCham members throughout the globe.
AmCham International is voluntary associations of American companies and individuals doing business in a particular country, as well as firms and individuals of the country who operate in, or are interested in operating in the United States.
AmCham Canada provides its members with multiple opportunities to interact with business executives and professionals at leading Canadian and U.S. concerns through participation in one of its policy or industry committees.
